I have more than 20 years’ experience in business development and management including implementing new strategic directions, project management, delivering successful commercial outcomes, innovation and account management - all based on a strong customer focus, (involving such concepts as “Customer Centricity”, “Voice of the Customer”, “Customer Success Development, “Customer Journey Mapping”).As Solution Lead for Ventia, I am responsible for the bid development for Base Service Transformation (Defence Life like Community Life) - EMOS4.Also as Solution Lead for Ventia I am responsible for the Defence bid development for Collaborative Business Relationship Management (ICW ISO 44001). As the key account owner with Directorate of Living Services (Department of Defence) I develop the Conceptual Selling Strategy and managed Blue-sheet process (Miller Hieman/ Korn Ferry). As a National Client Services Manager at Spotless I developed and implemented 9 innovative initiatives in a 12-month project at EY for both their staff and client services under the supply contract for corporate hospitality services. The success of this project with EY delivered a contract extension for a further two years. As a business partner, I was active in the purchase of the “old Port Melbourne Courthouse” (freehold cost $2m). I established and built the business offering of a Latin kitchen and bar (Corte, Latin Kitchen & Bar). Subsequently sold for $3.1m after 2.5 years.In an earlier business partnership, I redeveloped and managed the Brunswick Hotel, Hobart (freehold and business purchased with an initial annual turnover of 120k). I project managed a $800k refurbishment, established a completely new F&B offering as a gastro pub and developed the accommodation business into “Tassie Backpackers” (rated number 2 in Hobart). Subsequently sold with an annual turnover of $1.8m.As Food, Beverage and Conferencing Manager at the Mercure Hotel, Melbourne by the end of my first financial year I made budget for the first time in 7 years. Importantly I increased revenue substantially by securing and implementing agreements with Government departments for conferences and functions.
