Terminus is a software marketing startup, which specializes in account-based marketing where we prioritized highly targeted marketing to get the best ROI for our clients marketing and sales budgets. The product is a mix of legacy and greenfield solutions, where I had to learn an already existing complex data pipeline. Then build advanced solutions in a new growing business sector.

During my time at Salesforce, I played a variety of roles on different teams. I began on Audience Builder which was an enterprise scale segmentation tool. I designed a new high performance RESTful API. Then I helped lead the effort to migrate existing clients while also interacting with external clients to facilitate their integration to our product. Then I lead the effort to redesign and re-platform the persistence layer from an existing MPP (massively parallel processed) solution to a newer more capable MPP solution. While migrating, the utmost priority was made to make sure the process was so smooth it was unseen to external cleints. The new solution reduced downtime, increased our ability to manage concurrency and allowed more efficient use of resources between workloads and clients. After my time in Audience Builder I moved to the Contacts data platform that powers the Marketing Cloud Journey Builder and mobile products. There I led the effort to bring up reliability and performance of a legacy system, while at the same time maintaining our advanced decisioning engine that enables Journey Builder to truly orchestrate and personalize at the B2C scale level. Then I was a lead architect on redesigning an entirely new data sub system for Journey Builder that enabled our scale to grow at over 10x or original numbers while utilizing significantly less resources. We were capable of achieving extremely high scalability while testing, migrating, and enabling customers all while needing no additional configuration or input from the customers, they were unaware of any change to the product other than much greater performance. Before I departed, I was also tapped to lead the design and implementation of a new highly scalable API first solution for synchronizing marketing audiences between multiple Salesforce clouds and infrastructures.

StreetLinks was a fast paced startup in the appraisel and valuation business. I quickly designed feature rich systems for the software driven service business. I worked with internal operations, external vendors, and external clients to derive and build advanced scalable workflow products which would fulfill a wide range of business requirements. During my time at Streetlinks we grew to over 100 times our initial business volume which helped increased our company size to over 10 times initial size.

I was a software consultant for two companies, the first being StreetLinks which I was later hired directly on for. I also worked at Central Restaurant Supply eventually taking over for their lead developer and negotiating a contract for a permanent presence. I created a system for integrating a legacy RMS into a more up to date ASP.NET web front end, and also upkeeping secondary ColdFusion front end.

While at Alliance Tech Group I was in charge of all powertrain control module testing at the Delphi Purdue Research Lab. I supervised a team of 4-8 developers to utilize a complex test harness which validated the hardware specifications of engine controllers through a series of automated, repeatable testing. I also became a reference for full time engineers that were performing initial development.
