Founded in 1959, Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) is a multi-utility company that serves over 39,000 customers throughout the Navajo Nation covering over 27,000 square miles across Arizona, Utah and New Mexico. As an enterprise of the Navajo Nation, NTUA operates under a tariff rate and takes pride in having one of the lowest utility rates throughout the western United States. • Ensure multi-utility construction, operation and maintenance standards are complied with and/or implemented. Coordinate and review of development of utility plans and designs including closeout procedures.• Responsible for field inspections of new construction projects and the O&M activities for quality assurance and utility specifications.• Analyze and review utility outage reports and coordinate to resolve recurring activities.• Review, monitoring and tracking field personnel and equipment safety program.• Providing employee and supervisor mentorship and development.• Manage field operations capital and O&M budgets.• Supervise and oversee the fleet maintenance, materials inventory and asset control.• Develop new programs and operating procedures for optimum efficiency.• Ensure performance goals and objectives are met with efficient utilization of resources.Reported to the District Manager

• Managed projects individually as assigned and supervised 2 technicians.• Assist with routine maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of equipment within an IT Infrastructure that included servers, workstations, routers, switches and wired/wireless products.• Assisted client end-users with help desk tasks that varied from software to hardware troubleshooting and repair.• Assist clients with technology project planning and reports.• Created internet and local intranet dynamic websites with database integration and basic graphic design.• Development network schematics and estimates.

• Organized/develop office drafting and CAD management standards and created an online help office website accessible thru AutoCAD.• Develop and train users on custom AutoCAD programs that assist in managing office standards and increase quality consistency and production. Programming languages used: AutoLisp, Visual Lisp, Object DCL, VBA, VB6.• Managed and assisted in design and drafting of several projects, including field surveying (GPS/Total Station) and post processing of GIS data.• Offered support and trouble shooting solutions to AutoCAD users.
