As a Propulsion Systems Engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat, I apply my design and analysis skills to support the development and testing of advanced submarine propulsion systems. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure the performance, reliability, and safety of the systems. I also contribute to the improvement and optimization of the design processes and tools, using problem-solving and analytical skills. I have over two years of work experience in the engineering field, including a year and a half as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Marine Renewable Energy Laboratory at the University of Michigan, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2022. There, I worked on various projects related to wave energy conversion, hydrodynamics, and numerical modeling. I also gained valuable remote work experience as a Tasker at Engineering Express, where I performed various engineering calculations and tasks for clients. I am passionate about applying my engineering skills to create innovative and sustainable solutions for the marine industry.
