I have a keen interest in separating factual information from ideas. A BS in Social Science introduced metrics and heightened my awareness of human factors that can influence optimum decision making. Parallel advancement in the automotive & power sports industry: from technician: to foreman, to parts and service fixed ops director, and to eventually securing a position that encompassed most facets of a complex multi franchised enterprise- highlighted practical applications. Metrics were used to inform individual contributions, to unify and ensure complementary goals, and to prove outcomes were satisfactory. Working in higher education reinforced my analytical judgement and abilities; but especially it filled my toolbox. New software with the ability to modify and integrate raw data from diverse sources- in a meaningful way, motivated me to complete a Master's degree focused in data analytics. The applications for these skills will expand, and this discipline is likely to stay on the forefront of emerging technology. A lifelong commitment to learning within a low-ego environment speaks to my nature. As a user and driver of technology I think data analytics is one of the most compelling disciplines!
