The Kovler Project Against Torture is based out of the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at American University Washington College of Law that works with students, attorneys at, and members of the UN Committee Against Torture. The Legal Rhetoric Program at Washington College of Law is a unique program that prepares graduates to become better writers and better lawyers by combining exceptional resources, outstanding expertise, and innovative yet proven techniques to develop students' writing and research skills.Specific Experience:Meeting one-on-one with first-year law students enrolled in the Legal Rhetoric Program to answer general questions regarding grammar, writing techniques, and citation style.Additionally addressing students' specific questions regarding techniques for revision and addressing professors' comments and criticisms.

The purpose of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) is to enforce, for the benefit of job seekers and wage earners, the contractual promise of affirmative action and equal employment opportunity required of those who do business with the Federal government.Specific Experience:Processing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) claims—ensuring government compliance with releasing all responsive information, and withholding sensitive information where public disclosure would result in reasonably foreseeable harm.Drafting response letters for FOIA claims requestors and federal contractors.Drafting proposed changes to the OFCCP FOIA manual to incorporate amendments from the FOIA Improvement Act (2016).
