• Directly responsible for managing the safety and risk of all construction projects/company operations• Proactively plan, direct and implement Company’s safety program• Ensures safe, health and accident-free work environment via safety incentives/programs• Organize, run, and direct all company-wide safety meetings/events • Create and formulate corporate programs to assist in overall company functionality and success • Leads development of and clearly articulates Company’s safety vision, objectives, strategies, policies and procedures in order to build the Corporate safety culture • Leads and schedules all monthly committee safety meetings • Provides proactive leadership and assumes ownership of building a best-in-class safety culture• Complete and finalize all corporate paperwork regarding job safety and procedures• Directly manage all Corporate safety awards and applications (local and national• Actively sit on boards and committees representing Comfort’s safety program• Manages all safety incentive programs • Create and implement the Corporation’s Driver Review Board • Plan and implement all Corporate safety policies• Conduct all job-site inspections, equipment inspections, and accident investigations• Develop and ensure safe equipment operating techniques • Sit as the acting fleet safety point-of-contact for all incidents• Communicate and enforce Comfort’s safety culture with all General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Vendors
