Transactions included:- Advised regulated utility provider in structuring and procuring A$500m senior debt financing from Asia Pacific syndicated loan market.- Advised ASX listed mining company on capital structure including procurement of project financing and equity investment from Asian investors- Advised ASX listed beer manufacturer on optimal capital structure for development of $70m capital project including debt raising and share placement.

Jonathan was part of the team established to open the Corporate Banking Asia Pacific branch in Sydney, Australia in 2007 with the mandate to build on the international franchise at AIB Capital Markets. During this time the business was built from scratch to A$2bn of leverage, corporate and project finance assets across the Asia Pacific regionPrior to setting up the Asia Pacific business, Jonathan worked in AIB Structured Finance in Dublin and London where he was responsible for conducting analysis on project finance transactions (energy, infrastructure/PPP, oil & gas, telecoms) across Europe, Middle East and Africa. During this time Jonathan was involved in structuring, arranging and syndicating the €270m National Conference Centre project as Mandated Lead Arranger. The transaction was awarded “European deal of the year” by Project Finance magazine and Infrastructure Journal.During his time at AIB Capital Markets, Jonathan developed significant senior and mezzanine debt structuring, origination, execution and restructuring experience across a wide range of sectors
