About Jonathan Souza
Graduated as a Game Development Technologist from PUC-MG, I've gained a lot of experience, especially as a gameplay programmer using Unity and C#. During my studies, I got comfortable with agile methodologies and the complete game development pipeline. In my free time, I love taking online courses to deepen my knowledge. I've also been exploring the Godot engine, working on side projects for study purposes only, which you can find on my GitHub page.Lately, I've been focused on turn-based games. I've been refactoring the network code for my team's game, which we plan to launch soon. This has really helped me understand multiplayer game architecture better and improve my skills in optimizing network performance.I'm also sharpening my skills with Unreal Engine for my current job, where my team and I develop virtual reality solutions for our clients. This job has given me the chance to work on some really cool VR projects and see how immersive technology can be used in different industries. Working closely with my team has also improved my collaboration and project management skills as we work to deliver innovative solutions.Overall, my journey as a Game Developmerhas been a mix of formal education, continuous learning, and practical experience.
