The majority of my work is transaction focused, which comprises of share and asset sales and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring and equity investment (acting for investors/investee companies via EIS/VCT/leveraged MBO/MBI).A large part of my equity investment work involves early stage, series B and beyond investments in high growth technology businesses.In 2021, I contributed a chapter to ‘ From the Factory Floor: We Build Tech Companies’ – a book written by Bermans clients https://thestartupfactory.tech/.The book aims to help entrepreneurs launch and build better and more successful tech businesses.My chapter focuses on the legal building blocks needed to establish good corporate governance which sets the framework for growth, investment and ultimately exit.Other areas of expertise include shareholder disputes and growth/exit strategies. Sector specialisms include, ophthalmic, insurance, wealth management, TMT, cross border M & A (acquisitions and sales), and corporate and M & A work for brokers and own book lenders in ABL industry.My aim is to provide the best commercial legal advice in order to achieve my client's objectives as swiftly as possible.
