I strive to have a holistic approach in all facets of life and work. As the Chief Legal Officer at Foster & Foster, I make sure the ship is running smoothly and am always looking for ways to grow the firm organically and by way of acquisition. I work with our team and industry partners to provide unique and skilled litigation that I wholeheartedly believe in.At Foster & Foster, we specialize in actuarial consulting for retirement and health & welfare plans for clients specific to their individual needs. We currently serve over 300 public pension plans from across the country, covering both local and state-wide systems. Our retirement consulting team consists of over 35 staff members, including 20 credentialed actuaries, eight of whom are Fellows in the Society of Actuaries. We partner with organizations to provide quality health care benefits while controlling the cost. We do this through a strategic approach that addresses the causes behind health care cost increases in order to control premiums rather than pass costs on to employees. We have NEVER been terminated by any client due to the quality or performance of our work and we have NEVER had a credentialed actuary voluntarily leave to go work for another actuarial firm! Today we have offices from coast to coast and provide consulting and actuarial services to nearly 1000 clients representing over 1 million participants. In 2005, Brad Heinrichs came aboard and became the President and CEO. Since then, our team has taken several steps to expand and diversify the business, which had previously focused solely on Florida public pension funds.As the Chief Legal Officer, I’m Foster & Foster’s principal litigator. I provide legal counsel to the board of directors, chairman of the board, chief executive officer, and other senior management. I use my expertise to put the proper procedures in place for all potential legal exposure.
