Heading a team that is leading on 5 Talent Match partnership projects the country. These projects worth £12 million over 5 years are funded by the BIG Lottery Fund. The role entails the line management and training of project managers, conflict management with partners, interface with the funder, ensuring that the centralised function are working for the projects (Marketing, finance, contracts and evaluation). Further work involved the development of systems within the projects (Health & Safety for instance), impact on policy with stakeholders outside of the projects, effective and robust commissioning of funding, developing best practice examples across the projects and meeting / joint working with some of the project managers from some of the other 16 projects.

To manage 4 staff members delivery of the awards programme and ensure effective volunteers were available to support the other programmes delivery in the East Midlands region. The role involved the effective marketing, recruitment, training, management and celebration of volunteers numbering around 350. The quality and integrity of these volunteers were important as the majority were matched with young people coming through programmes. The awards programme worth around £60,000 included delivery of Development Awards to young people and Community Cash awards to groups undertaking projects. The region became one of the top performers in comparison to other UK Princes Trust regions
