WESTERN UNION, Englewood, CO 1/1/23 – PresentEnterprise Global Head of Data QualityBuilt best in class global data quality practice including teams in US/Costa Rica/Lithuania and Pune, India Responsible for owning the data quality analysis across the enterprise logic data domains, combining our knowledge with the business to ensure correct prirority Lots of innovation because we currently do not have an enterprise data quality tool (i.e. Collibra, Ataccama, Datatics, Talend DQ, etc.) Instead we have been using tools like Alteryx, Talend, PowerBI and Snowflake to complete data profiling, data quality rule definitions against the dimensions of data quality and some grass roots MDM Successfully integrated a single team (vision and operating model) across the countries mentioned above Year to date we have implemented data profiling, quality and monitoring for 25 logical data domains (domains and sub-domains) Just some examples of metrics for success, not at all comprehensive: “Location address leveling” – Data Consistency – 161K to date, “Company Name, DBA and addresses” – Data Consistency & Accuracy – 15K per date and “Phantom Locations and Obsolete Companies” – Data Accuracy – 70K to date

Responsible for I created a global Meta-data management solution & strategy that inventoried, organized and reported out global data collection requirements. This was a first of it's kind for Western Union. This effort combines traditional solutions like "Business Glossary", "Central Reference Data Repository" and "System Lineage Requirements" into a centralized source of truth for Meta-data management. This effort involved the creation and evolution of business concepts that provide the foundation for Data Governance at Western Union. Using these game changing concepts I led the creation of a data governance committee and process to manage global data change requests.
