CeoPost-Switch.Com 2006 - 2012London, GbPost-Switch was a disruptor brand that offered a more agile, cost-effective way for companies to optimise direct-marketing budgets. This was facilitated by the British Government, allowing increased competition in the mail distribution market, which was previously monopolised by the Royal Mail. Successfully launched and scaled the business to achieve annual revenue of more than £8m and gross profit of 12 percent. Created an innovative, vibrant company with a strong sales and customer service culture to deliver clients a saving of between 10 and 15 percent on their mailing costs. This was achieved through fast but controlled organic growth which saw 97% client retention. I was then approached by a competitor wanting to purchase the company, and the divestment was completed in 2016. Was ranked the 60th fastest-growing company in the 2010 Sunday Times Fast Track 100 survey which features Britain’s private companies with the fastest sales growth during that year. Was appointed Chairman of the DMA Committee reporting to the UK Department for Business, as a result of the success of Post-Switch. I Established and refined the business proposition to leverage the opportunity presented by the emergence of competitors to the previously monopolistic Royal Mail. Built partnerships with new carriers to offer a low-price aggregated mailing service to clients. Analysed available market data to identify target customers and oversee monthly forecasting.
