Team comradery if key to success.My previous role was in the automotive industry as a senior engineering manager at JaguarlandRover Special Vehicle Operations managing three large product development engineering teams-chassis, powertrain applications and armour engineering.I owned all chassis Product Development,Powertrain Applications and later armoured Engineering for nearly every specialist product JLR produced since 2002 until 2019. I built a complete team starting with four engineers and eventually establishing 3 teams,12 managers & 160 engineers.Some of my highlights are Jaguar Project 8,I PACE EV racing series, Armoured vehicle products for the Government, Range Rover Sport SVR,XKRS,XFRS and the hundreds of forged alloy wheels developed by my team that made incredible profit for JLR along with unique performance options for JLR products such as carbon braking systems, titanium exhaust systems, performance tyres and all types of accessories.There are a few links to various JLR car programmes I worked on with my teams below.All pre-JLR job roles over a period of fifteen years were based worldwide in engineering either mechanical, automotive or electrical industries, engineering vehicles, trucks, boats and large industrial equipment. I have been based in Australia, USA and mainland Europe working for major OEMs, JLR,Jaguar,Ford, Bentley and a number of large Tier 1 automotive suppliers. I have managed & worked with a vast mix of engineers from many cultures and countries.I'm a mechanical,automotive chassis and automotive structures engineering specialist with years of experience and expertise in delivering world class products. I'm an expert in product development and the management of Engineers.
