About Jonathan Doan

I am passionate about connecting donors with philanthropic opportunities that are meaningful to them, and helping them to have a positive impact on the World. In my 11+ year career in the fundraising profession, I have worked with individual philanthropists, foundations and corporate donors to raise tens of millions of dollars to support students and innovative research in higher education. I held several different roles in Development and Alumni Engagement at UBC, from communications to front line fundraising to leadership.In my current role, I work with donors - and their professional advisors - considering gifts through their estates and/or gifts of assets today, helping them to meet their philanthropic and estate planning goals in the most tax effective way.
