Level II Fieldwork• Mentored by certified hand therapist and occupational therapist with a developmental caseload in an outpatient pediatric setting. • Provided occupational therapy to children from 2 months – 18 years old with developmental disabilities and delays, sensory processing and emotional regulation difficulties, feeding difficulties, cerebral palsy, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and children with upper extremity conditions including brachial plexus injuries, hemiplegia, and traumatic injuries. • Independently completed developmental and upper extremity evaluations and gave recommendations for further occupational therapy services.• Developed client-centered treatment plans using the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure to collaborate with clients and parents. Treatment plans included: creating custom adaptive equipment, custom splinting, and interventions to improve performance and satisfaction with activities of daily living. • Administered and documented standardized assessments including Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, Peabody Developmental Motor Scales-2, Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual-Motor Integration, and Test of Visual Perceptual Skills-3 as well as screening tools including the Sensory Processing Measure, Sensory Profile, and Ages and Stages. • Evaluated infant development within NICU follow-up clinic.
