I’m a seasoned founder, executive, investor and board member with extensive experience across both public and private sectors, known for my contributions to innovation and impact in the climate, health, and deep technology industries. I have driven the commercialization of pioneering technologies in complex industries such as energy, advanced materials, transportation, and alternative fuels. I built the Clean Technology Practice at the MaRS Discovery District and later served as Senior Vice President of Venture Services, where I led a diverse team supporting Canadian companies in clean technology, health, and AI. In venture capital, I was involved in the development of ArcTern Ventures’ Fund I and served on the investment committee for Fund II, helping to provide capital and advance technology-driven climate solutions. I played a critical role in the commercialization of hydrogen technology at Hydrogenics Corporation (now Cummins) and founded deep tech companies focused on energy, power electronics (Sustainable Energy, now Eguana Technologies), and alternative fuels (Xmplar).I have formed impactful public-private partnerships that paved the way for new market innovations. Additionally, I served on the Energy Transformation Network of Ontario and on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Clean Water Agency.
