About Jonathan Doidge
I am Project management Prince 2 Foundation certified, currently studying for Practitioner level prior to Agile & APM certification. Aligning my prior skills and experience with the Processes, Principles and Themes of the Prince 2 Method.Experience in a broad range of Project work both in the UK and Japan has placed me in both the user and supplier side of complex projects. Within the broadcast and Audio-visual industry, I have taken on different roles needing both technological aptitude and organisational skills as projects have been proposed, planned, and executed, with final deployment and testing being one of my key responsibilities.I am currently working in a Live television/Live sport environment. This is a client facing role that requires a very flexible and creative approach to change on a moment by moment basis. Management of risk whilst employing delegated responsibility to change in alignment with the live circumstances, technical limitations, client needs and legal broadcast requirements.In my role I have implemented workflow SOPs which have optimised the broadcast playout process by creating a hierarchy of broadcast content prioritising the commercial (paid) content over that which is generic or of a less lucrative bracket in order that all operators can quickly and efficiently edit the live playlist when the (regular) need arises.I am confident that my varied but focused experience and skill set in concert with the professional tools and structure of the professional project management methodology position me ready to take on a wide range of project roles.I anticipate further broadening my portfolio of professional qualifications and look forward to the challenge of deploying my accumulated knowledge in the opportunities that await me.
