Chief Executive of this statewide specialty physician trade association and its educational foundation representing nearly 3000 emergency medicine physicians in Florida.

A state affiliate of the American Health Care Association (AHCA), I was Chief Executive of HCANJ, a large statewide trade association and their foundation and affiliates. The total annual budget was over $3m and members included over 300 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across New Jersey. In addition to oversight of advocacy and regulatory affairs and association education, events and operations, we had a collaboration and contract management of the New Jersey Adult Day Services Association (NJADSA), the state's Advanced Standing in Assisted Living and its Emergency Management programs for long term care providers.

A state affiliate of the American Health Care Association (AHCA), MHCA is the largest long term care trade association in the state serving over 500 skilled nursing and assisted living members in advocacy, education, events, regulatory & reimbursement and other member services.

I served the people of Missouri's Second District in the State Senate and served as the Chair of the Transportation Committee, Caucus Chairman and took a lead role in promoting or sponsoring major legislation in transportation, healthcare and veterans issues.

US Army, Army Reserve & Missouri Army National Guard service and formal active duty training as an Army Public Affairs Officer. Other active duty training included the US Army Military Police Captains Career Course, US Army Airborne School (paratrooper), US Army Officer Basic Course, US Army Basic Training & the US Army ROTC Advanced Course. Assignments included Commander of the 70th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment which deployed to Joint Task Force Guantanamo in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2003-2004. Other missions included duty in Germany, Honduras and supporting the Missouri Military Funeral Honors Program, Weapons of Mass Destruction Training, ongoing media and public affairs operations support and the completion of a Public Affairs Emergency Incident Response Manual.Highest rank of Major and total active service or training is over two years, with nine years active reserve duty and other years service in the individual ready reserve.

I was honored to serve three two year terms in the Missouri House of Representatives representing the people of the 13th district which comprised West St. Charles County.

I was a successful security systems sales & design consultant for this alarm, fire, CCTV and access control company during a period of great growth in the company and St. Louis & St. Charles county region while I was also attending graduate school.

I was a Special Agent in the Office of Security which developed and operated a comprehensive security program to protect agency personnel, facilities, information and activities. Special Agents train and serve in areas such as background investigations, security clearance adjudication, protective operations and other security functions. I received initial training and served a tour in the 24/7 Security Duty Office at the Headquarters compound before departing for graduate school.

Asset Protect & Loss Prevention Manager responsible for personnel & physical security and safety operations, theft prevention, inventory/audit controls for a regional retailer. Achieved great success in new store operations and the myriad of asset protection and loss prevention functions associated with their opening and commencement of operations.
