Analytics Engineer
- Code owner of Looker, DBT, Analytics monitoring, Spinnaker, Terraform Infrastructure, Looker Admin tasks, Dashboards, Looks, and external customer-facing content with documentation of APIs and Content.- Engineered and implemented DBT from CI/CD to Production monitoring to replace data transforms in Looker, reducing costs by 40% and increasing performance for end user reports.- Collaborated across teams and engineered a Kafka Event processing via AWS MSK, S3, and Snowflake, migrating to a scalable and more easily monitored ETL process- Wrote guides and internal documentation on creating new CI/CD applications with monitoring and analytics integrations to streamline inter-team dependence on tooling teams and increase flywheel velocity for the entire engineering department.- Led the Engineering All Hands weekly meeting, hosted and managed speakers, and held departments accountable for presenting in various formats.- Served on the DEIB team to create, organize, and moderate roundtable discussions, and collaborate on writing a new section of the employee onboarding material to solidify DEIB values into the company culture.- Served as Primary OCE on the largest outage event on Cyber Monday, coordinating problem solving and external communication to 200+ customers across all departments.
