I started editing videos in 1987. Every video was a marketing video. Even when the video was a DIY video, a product application video, or a documentary, there was always marketing. Each video always had a call to action, a product displayed in a scene, or a guest who represented a product manufacturer. After 18 years of working in video production as a senior video editor, I realized that I wanted to work with small businesses. The budgets at my job were just too large for small businesses and I recognized a need in that sector.In 2007 I founded Field 1 Post. Through Field 1 Post, I have created videos and websites which motivate, inspire and educate our audiences in North America. These marketing tools of video and websites are now combined with digital advertising and social media through email campaigns and high-quality branded content for our clients. I enjoy interacting with teams and building relationships with business leaders around the world and in my own backyard as part of my business operations.Helping others succeed is part of my personality. With lifelong advice from my family and friends who are Athletic Trainers, Sports Physical Therapists, Business Owners, Attornies, and Health and Physical Education leaders, I have learned how to be available to Help. Help small businesses succeed, help corporations increase sales, and help vendors get more business through Field 1 Post.It is a wonderful, rewarding experience to see others succeed and I am humbled to be a part of that process. What is important to ask yourself is just what skills your Digital Marketer has. Are they a practicer of many and masters of few? Field 1 Post takes the stance that we are the Master of Many. It sounds arrogant, but it is true. We have experts in specific fields working with us as vendors. That makes us the Master of Many. This also means we retain our competitors as vendors as that is the most good for our clients and they are certainly experts in fields we normally would not be. It is a win-win.In my spare time, I am an avid woodworker (https://www.donleywoodworking.com) and soccer player. I often escape to my workshop and enjoy taking vacations with my wife and 3 children to Fenwick Island Delaware (https://www.fenwickisland.com). My happy place is a beach house with my wife, three children, and our beagle where there is a woodshop in the detached garage and a nearby pick-up game of soccer with average-skill level players. It is a work in progress, but we are moving in the right direction.
