Originally, Industrial Engineer at the Bristol manufacturing facility, which produces the majority of Estee Lauder Brands powdered makeup products in North America. Starting in 2021, I moved to one of our assembly locations as the lead industrial engineer, responsible for costing all finished good projects, but also overseeing the other manufacturing and distribution locations. The Industrial Engineering role at ELC operates between product development, finance, and supply chain planning - the IE is responsible for determining cost and capacity feasibility of new products, identifying production inefficiencies and supporting potential solutions. In addition to Industrial Engineering, I serve as Continuous Improvement "Lean Champion" for the Pennsylvania campus, responsible for facilitating and directing Northtec's portfolio of Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma projects.Responsibilities of these roles include: - Feasibility analysis of potential new products - Labor analysis and costing of all new products that go into operations - Weekly & monthly Efficiency (OEE) reporting & team meeting lead - Quarterly run-rate analysis and adjustments to ensure operation standards match supply planning - Annual site review - analysis of current and projected production and maximum site capacity - Giveback Program - program guarantees 6% reduction in cost yearly, IE is responsible for determining savings, and ensuring lean projects and/or capital investments can support the savings - Lean Champion - Sponsor all lean manufacturing projects, lead a monthly update meeting, and work with individual projects to provide lean tools and ensure timely completion of objectives - Collaborative Robots - currently working with collaborative robot arm to eliminate variability in the Quality Inspection process. Supervisor for the technical services department in the manufacturing plant that produces the majority of Estee Lauder's powdered make-up products in North America. Responsible for monitoring the compounding process from weighing raw materials through all necessary mixing and milling steps to produce finished powder ready for pressing (e.g. face/skin powders, blushes, eye shadows, etc.)and are then ready to be packaged for market. Specific duties include: - Managing the schedule and placement of workers within the department (approximately 30 employees on each shift across 12 workcenters) - Managing the flow of raw materials and finished goods into and out of technical services - Directly oversee all factory floor operations within the department - Handle majority of disciplinary action with all non-exempt employees - Serve as a gateway between non-exempt employees and upper level management - Lead in continuous implementation of lean manufacturing projects and processes - Directly responsible for systematic accounting of all materials and batches processed within the department - Performed in process quality checks and worked closely with QA to create a flexible and quality-driven work environment - Worked in a fast pace environment with a deadline based schedule. - Participated in a variety of team-based projects focused on improving the quality or scheduling efficiency of manufacturing

Served as a technical associate in product development for multiple contract engineering and manufacturing jobs. The majority of contract work dealt mainly with Food & Beverage process development and manufacturing support. The engineering intern position, in particular, entails performing product testing in various laboratory settings, creating and revising numerous technical documents, and assisting in maintaining the company's professional relationships.

As the process engineering intern I aided in the development of an interactive inventory database, assisted in chemical product testing, and worked with wastewater treatment and air quality control for the brewery's own water treatment facility.

Intern duties included: manage routine chemical bath testing and warehouse kanban inventory system, explore alternative (PVD) metal coating processes, and research environmental impact of rinse system.
