As the VP Communications for the New York State Outdoor Education Association for an elected two years, I planned conferences, developed/produced the quarterly newsletter, and became the organization's webmaster.Upon moving back to the Capital Region in the fall of 2010, I continued to maintain and strengthen my connections to various non-profits in the upstate New York region on a consultant basis including: the Ashokan Center, Rensselaer Land Trust, the Shelter Skatepark, Pet Care Community, etc.For 3 years I waspart of a phenomenal team of staff, trustees, and volunteers as the Executive Director of the Grant Cottage State Historic Site in Wilton. The seasonal nature of the job allowed me to complement it with the musician side of my life as the founder of the Let's Drum traveling hands-on music program.Specialties: Marketing, public relations, grant writing, event planning, outreach, database management, website design, tech support.
