The day to day management of a 500 strong cattle herd including tasks such as dipping, illness treating, grazing circulation, sale of cattle as well as general repair of fenses and implements used around the farm. The management of accounts and supervising 3 staff members.

I was hired as a restaurant busser, which entailed running food to the guests and clearing and setting tables. I was later promoted to night server, whose duties included table side serving with extensive knowledge of the wines and food available on the menu.

I was contracted to representing the Cape Town Municipality to ensure that no harm was done to the environment and that all stipulations of the permit were followed by companies on photo or film shoots in the Cape Town area. Some of these tasks included specifying which areas may be used for a shoot, whether vegetation could be altered or removed and understanding the fire hazard of the area. I also had to make suitable decisions on equipment use, areas demarcated for food preparation and smoking, and make sure the environment was left in a state comparable or better than when the team arrived.
