In this role, I am responsible for managing customer expectations on the progression of their case, this consists of actively reviewing files to strengthen arguments and collecting evidence to refute allegations from the other side. I am also responsible for synthesizing evidence that helps the claimant's case such as witness statements and other civil proceed procedure documents.

In this role I was responsible for developing new business and maintaining relationships with current accounts, this involved lots of face-to-face customer conversations. Sales and upselling was a major part of this role too in which I developed my skills quickly. I left this role as it would've been very difficult to fit around my university studies due to half days not being an option.

In this role, I have been responsible for collecting data and creating profiles of potential donors to the university, which involved throughout background research. Also in this role, I am responsible for leasing between student charitable fundraising groups and the university fundraising team.

In this role I was responsible for encouraging members of the public to sign up to donate to Altseimers UK, this involved door-to-door conversations and also operating a stand. I had to leave this role as the business in which I was employed was a Scotland-based business and couldn't afford to just have myself operating in the northeast as the costs of supervising this would be too high.

In this role I started off as a bar back, I was responsible for collecting all empty cups. Very early my role was changed to being on the bar as a server as I am a quick and controlled worker. As this is not my first job in town this role was very easy to pick up and serving was even easier. Due to being invested in the company and also being strong on the bar I was given extra responsibility of leading and training staff within "my own" venue as I was supervising that happened.I left this role because I was unable to do required shifts to be a supervisor as I am still in full time education.

I had responsibility for the planning and delivery of coaching sessions to the Kenton force and North Shields Under 12's, 14's, 16's and 18's team. Within this role I grew greatly in confidence and was given plenty of responsibility. I ran two participation basketball clubs, however as well as having this role I covered plenty of sessions for other clubs and beyond that I was involved in youth performance basketball assisting the top coaches in the UK competing in the highest standard youth league.I left this role due to needing to find a more financially sustainable job due to having very limited hours at the time.

Throughout my time with my constituency MP, Mary Glindon, I took on a role dealing with difficult casework queries. Typical cases involved housing issues, immigration/asylum cases, and difficulties accessing services provided by the local authority. I was asked by Mary to prepare a constituency-wide consultation document for local residents. This involved an extensive planning process and I led discussions on the development of this document. I also provided clerical support in the form of answering emails, letters and the constituency office telephone. Often, I was asked to write to Government ministers on Mary’s behalf to chase up queries on behalf of constituents. I accompanied Mary to constituency surgeries and worked with colleagues to share learning opportunities, nurture the opportunity to develop my experience with colleagues and learn how to work effectively within a stressful environment.
