Responsible to implement Signature's vision & strategy by translating it into a strategic plan of action. I oversee the plan’s execution and manage the roles of VP Sales & Marketing, VP Product Management & Procurement, and VP Manufacturing who are all tasked with transforming the vision into reality.

I provided oversight and development input to the following departmental functions; Information Technology, Human Resources, Facilities / Maintenance, Safety, Environmental, & Compliance, Manufacturing, Engineering and Purchasing.

Through partnership with IT solutions providers, I developed the foundations and infrastructure needed to introduce computer & software technology platforms to our administrative & operational functions. I served as network and systems administrator acquiring necessary skills through partnerships, CompTIA A+ certification and self study. I served as liaison to a software engineering firm as we designed a custom written sales order / ERP solution which was deployed both in house and to our national network of design professionals. As our organization grew, I managed the ongoing growth & customization of our sales order software through the efforts of our in house staff of software developers.

I learned product specifics through the manual calculation and creation of a customized bill of materials required to build kitchen cabinet doors. Using the BASIC computer language, I wrote a program to bring automation to the bill of materials creation required for convex and concave cabinetry doors. During my time in this position, I learned both the product and the general function of our kitchen cabinet manufacturing industry.
