Responsible for partial restructuring of the SUE department to increase efficiency and oversee operations of projects for a wide variety of SUE deliverable projects including plan and profile, and hybrid QL-B deliverables combined with ground penetrating radar data analysis. My responsibilities were expanded to include Trimble business center survey data processing, Ground penetrating radar data processing through Condor software, as well as a deep understanding of Civil 3D.

I managed a small team of engineers in completing Subsurface utility engineering drawings, as well as various other tasks associated with survey and field crews in order to complete them. This position requires strict time management and communication, as well as a solid understanding of CAD and engineering principles.

Responsibilities include managing and directing a team of associate engineers and CAD technicicans in putting together and redlining construction drawings for cell tower sites or colations. Coordination and communication with clients is integral, and attending meetings, issuing documents, POR’s, and keeping track of forecast dates and schedules all included.

As a staff engineer at Rooney, a wide assortment of duties were projects. These duties included assembling numerous front end engineering documents for proposed pipeline projects with various clients, performing detailed cost estimates for accepted projects going into detailed design, performing hydraulic analysis for pipelines to optimize pump station locations, and determining optimal pipe specifications and necessary pump specifications.
