As a satellite operations analyst my duties comprised the monitoring and operation of the ground and space segments of the Mexican government satellite communication system MEXSAT. Main activities included spacecraft telemetry trending, simulation and validation of spacecraft operational procedures, and development of automation and telemetry post processing tools.

As a member of the Space Instrumentation Laboratory I collaborated on the area of thermal engineering.Main activities included thermal modelling and analysis of CubeSat prototypes and thermal cycling testing of electronic components.I also had the chance to take part in the thermal design of the scientific instrument EUSO-SPB, an UV telescope developed under an international collaboration and tested on the stratosphere as part of NASA’s Super Pressure Balloon program.
