I began with this company in one role, as a project manager for major accounts, and then grew to taking on more responsibility. This led to becoming a Senior Engineer in the Distribution Engineering department.Having learned how to effectively direct team members in the military, I took this position and combined my professional skills with my education. Knowing how to read and interpret mechanical drawings made it possible for me to use these to manage and oversee project construction and installation efforts. In addition, collaboration with other team members enables me to provide better service to customers.Some other specialties I developed in this role include the ability to review and interpret line-diagrams and schematics, provide engineering and technical support, and design large capital projects. By doing so, I can ensure a safer and reliable system and service to our customers. Along the way, I make sure to follow the most up-to-date codes which promotes safety and efficiency.

I mostly focused on research and development efforts, specifically for munitions products. This directly influenced re-design and led to filing and acquiring two patents. Through my time here, I supported all aspects of production relating to medium-caliber ammunition acquisitions. This included incorporating engineering change proposals and ensuring clear communication with contractors across the project. I’m proud of my ability to serve my country in addition to delivering millions of dollars worth of product.

I functioned as a crew chief and took ownership over ensuring equipment received proper attention. This made it possible to use equipment and inventory necessary to carry out missions without any concern as to upkeep or maintenance. Looking back, I see my work directly resulted in extremely high efficiency and safety rates.
