Production reporting and inventory tracking in SAP using RFID 2010 - Kohler Company's first ever SAP-RFID implementation-Attained approval from the Director of Information Technology for the creation of a custom SAP-RFID module. Module proposed to control 95% of all RFID information within SAP with minimal external software assistance.-Teamed with plant manager in blueprinting RFID hardware footprint and the required functionality of 8 RFID devices across 4 locations. -Co-designed with programmer a real-time SAP-RFID module to report production and track finished goods and component inventory within SAP. -Modified existing product/component labels into RFID capable labels, storing each label's unique serial number and product information in custom SAP tables.-Designed functionality allowing SAP controlled RFID devices to activate/deactivate RFID tags, build RFID handling units and ignore RFID tags based on tag location, tag status, or tag type.-Peformed trouble-shooting and resolved traditional RFID physics challenges such as stray RFID tag reads and RF interference. -Eliminated manual keystroke errors and decreased production reporting time from an average of 180 seconds per pallet of finished goods to 15 seconds.-Increased production reporting efficiency of Fork Truck drivers prompted the removal of costly automatic guided vehicles previously used to pick up pallet loads of finished goods and take to staging area. -Increased employee accountability by linking employee to RFID transaction by creating RFID user-badges.-Dreastically improved daily inventory inaccuracy reports decreased from 7 to 0.5 pages per day. --Received the Kohler IT Group's "Imagine-Believe-Succeed" award for successfully implementing the first RFID SAP project at Kohler Company.

SAP WM go-live of south central distribution center 2009- Largest Kohler 3PL DC implementationPerformed SAP configuration within Logistics Execution and WM modules of SAP for 680,000 sq ft warehouse. Configuration included:Storage type creation, bin creation, plant configuration, storage location creation, output determination procedures, put-away and removal strategiesSet a higher standard for inventory and shipment accuracy by modifying existing SAPConsole programs to allow bin level verification for product pick/put-away and dock scanning for shipment loading process.Implemented the first North American installment of custom shipment manifest program; linked in SAP a shipment and carrier to an empty trailer in the yard, and a useable dock door for loading. Plumbing group requested roll out of custom shipment manifest program to global footprint of distribution center due to increased shipment accuracy.Recognized by upper management at Kohler quarterly meeting for work done on the SAP implementation.
