Senior Mission Operations Systems Engineer
Current- Support The National Aeronautics and Space Administration NASA OSAM-1 mission and provide operational support for the Ground & Operations team. -Developed CONOPS for utilizing multiple commanding sources (MOC and ROBOMOC); and at different commanding rates.-Developed CONOPS for simulation/test and uplink of operational products (including maneuvers, stored command loads, and FSW/table uploads).-Supported design/allocation, test/verification, and operations-implications of real-time latency as a result of using real-time video (via Ka-Band) for robot commanding.-Supported the Restore-L Ground Element (RGE) requirements verification testing.-Lead CONOPS development for Restore-L Mission Planning-Supported development of RGE Mission Planning System that includes STK Scheduler, PMS, and SNAS.-Ensured test program verifies and validates CONOPS. -Supported End-to-End testing as well as Mission Readiness testing (which includes simulations and rehearsals).-Supported development of core Flight Operations Team shift staffing profile, shift handover process, and reporting.Additional Roles: Communications Security (COMSEC) Manager•Uphold guidelines and regulations related to COMSEC activities while following NASA and the OSAM-1 KeyManagement Plan policies• Responsible for all actions associated with the receipt, handling, safeguarding, accounting, and destruction of COMSEC material assigned to the OSAM-1 Project• Developed test and configured the AES Encryption Decryption System (AEDS) with Traffic Encryption Keys forSatellite Encryption for telemetry and commandingProgram Lead (OSAM-1 Mission)• Management: Acting liaison between Qwaltec Management and Qwaltec members on OSAM-1 mission &Responsible for collecting and submitting Monthly’s to the Prime• Business Development: Support contract bid development by writing technical documents related to SatelliteOperations
