My research training was in mixed-methods, qualitative approaches, and organizational development. I began my career as a clinical psychologist providing psychotherapy and comprehensive assessments to diverse communities in the Bay Area. I subsequently transitioned to working for the California Department of Corrections, first as a clinician before beginning my current role in Quality Management. After working in quality management at San Quentin State Prison I joined the statewide mental health program. I am currently a have a role helping to maintain, train, and adapt the state’s clinical documentation system. I also have an interest in psychoanalysis and have a small private practice.
