The Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls team (EI&C) spans multiple sectors including Water and Wastewater Treatment, Industrial Facilities and Security Systems; providing a diverse range of solutions for our clients. As a member of this group, Jonathan has provided engineering solutions for water, wastewater, security, commercial, and institutional projects ranging in size from small to large throughout North America.Jonathan’s responsibilities include various aspects of EI&C design including: conceptual analysis and technology selection, design production, drawing review, specification preparation, site inspections and construction phase design support. His electrical design experience includes: low voltage power distribution, load analysis, lighting and motor control. Through numerous projects, Jonathan has developed considerable proficiency in the design and analysis of cost effective controls solutions in water and wastewater applications. These include automation master and migration planning; SCADA, DCS and PLC based control systems; the design of fieldbus and Ethernet based technologies; and the integration of intelligent electrical and instrumentation equipment into control systems.

Involved in all day-to-day activities including sourcing components, troubleshooting issues, and the design and development of modern PC based replacement components. Directly responsible for client management and the financial performance of the company.

Designer and project coordinator for a diverse range of projects including light industrial buildings, linear infrastructure, silviculture, building surveying and construction layout. Managed teams of labourers and equipment operators to ensure construction schedules and budget were met. Designed two buildings for light industrial occupants. Developed database driven tools to facilitate project tracking and invoicing.
