I am a Technical Consultant and fire safety adviser at Rapier Fire & Safety Consulting. This means that I carry out health and safety audit assessments and fire risk assessments. Our company specializes in Heritage buildings and I have carried out fire risk assessments at The World Heritage Site including the grade 1 listed buildings of The National Maritime Museum, including The Queens House and The Royal Observatory. I undertake fire risk assessments in a wide range of building types. These include, residential flats, offices, work depots, factories, libraries, Museums and many more. I have recently completed programmes of risk assessments for the London Ambulance Service and the London Borough of Bromley. In both cases, I conducted fire risk assessments of the entire building stocks for each organisation, completing both programmes on time and on budget. I also undertake Health & Safety and fire safety training including real fire extinguisher training at our training centre and using our portable fire extinguisher gas powered rig.
