Responsible for managing the risk and internal controls structure. This includes providing analysis, guidance and recommendations through the internal controls process that focus on adding value and achieving goals and objectives. This is a leadership role overseeing 2 other internal auditors and a seasonal intern.

The Audit Manager is responsible for execution of the internal audit process and results, delivering a high quality Chan Healthcare product and communicating upward with the ability to balance the needs of the client with Chan business needs. Develops and maintains favorable working relationships with client management and governance in order to create a good understanding of the Chan audit function and the client value, while remaining independent and objective. Conducts independent and integrated audits and develops appropriate documentation and audit reports to support audit work performed and conclusions made. Effectively communicates audit results and provides recommendations to client management and governance in support of achieving their business objectives.

Responsibilities include testing a variety of financial, accounting, and operational policies and procedures; verification of details of recorded transactions including detail examination of receipts, disbursements, payroll records, work orders, receiving reports, and other source records to determine if transactions are properly supported and recorded; plan, implement, and execute audit approach and program under limited supervision for effective and efficient audit; summarize laws, ordinances, and policies to recommend appropriate areas of compliance within audit work; identify related areas of concern including economic impacts, operational efficiencies, and compliance. Additional responsibilities included drafting audit reports and communication with senior executive management regarding report contents and monitoring corrective action plans implemented by management.

Responsibilities included managerial duties with P&L responsibility for small, rural, full service branch with approximately $45 million in assets including deposits, loans, and investments; compliance activities; interviewing job applicants; personal banking (sales and service) duties for personal and business customers including new accounts and lending; team building activities; and cross selling activities with non-branch based business partners. Direct supervision of a team of 4 including 2 tellers, 1 assistant manager, and 1 personal banker. Additional responsibility for customer relationship development in the community primarily through networking, use of internal lead/profiling systems, and generating referrals from existing clients.

Responsibilities included administrative duties, security and compliance, cash auditing, and personal banker duties (sales and service) including new accounts and lending for a full service facility with remote drive up location. Directly supervised teller staff of 15-20 and was responsible for promoting a selling culture and team development. Also included was on the job training for new and existing staff as well as business development in the community, including volunteer activities. Additionally, indirect supervision of 10 additional staff (sales and administrative) in the absence of the branch manager and assisted in interviewing processes as needed.
