Major Capital Projects - Gas Plants

• Responsible for execution, engineering, construction, & budget of major capital projects (gas plants) across all Targa Field Gathering & Processing assets• Gas plant projects include the following equipment: inlet compression, inlet liquid handling & stabilization, truck loading & unloading, inlet gas amine treating & regeneration, inlet gas TEG dehydration & regeneration, molecular sieve dehydration, GSP cryo plant with propane refrigeration, residue compression, liquid/liquid amine treating, hot oil systems, high pressure finger-type slug catchers, flash gas compression, & misc. plant utilities• Directly responsible for project scope definition and bid packages, including evaluation & selection of contractors (both EPC and construction only), preliminary equipment sizing & specification, evaluation of vendor quotes and selection of successful vendor• Strong interpersonal and communication skills utilized to interact effectively with other team members (Operations, Commercial, ES&H, other Company Managers, Contractors, Accounting)• Conduct PHA/Hazop as required by OSHA 1910.119 (PSM facilities) and work with PSM group to ensure PSM program is built, complete & ready to handover to Operations after plant commissioning & start-up• Coordinate pipeline tie-ins both at plant inlet from the field and third parties for custody transfer of residue gas & NGLs• Work with applicable parties to establish facility start-up & commissioning procedures, operating procedures, & supply all applicable info for PM program• Lead all commissioning efforts including initial purging & first fills, coordination of OEM pre-commissioning & commissioning, instrumentation & automation check-out, Cause & Effect check-out, PSSR review & approvals• Assure all company design and construction standards are met and followed including B31.3, B31.8, API 520/521, GAP, NEC, NFPA, OSHA• Provide budget support and project forecasts to all internal parties or partners as applicable

Provide project management, technical support, leadership and oversight to all operational, regulatory and project driven activities as assigned, including gas and NGL pipelines, gas conditioning and processing, compression and dehydration, metering, and construction. Responsibilities include:• Process modeling (Promax) of cryogenic gas plants, refrigeration systems, compressor stations, Amine & TEG systems• Suggest & develop optimization projects from process modeling results & findings• Project scope and cost development, including basic economic evaluation• Project & construction management for assigned projects including grass roots cryogenic gas plants up to 200 MMSCFD• Assure all applicable design and construction standards are met and followed including ASME B31.3, 31.4, & 31.8• Size and specify equipment and materials to meet design requirements• Contracting and bidding work and selection• Contract evaluation (construction and commercial)• Routine report generation• Provide technical support to operations for plant startups and troubleshooting • Effective communication, both written and verbal, with other team members (operations, construction, commercial, etc.)• Proactively seek opportunities to learn and develop as an engineer, continuously adding value to the Targa engineering team and maximizing value of operating assets • Assure State, Federal and Targa regulations and policies in Safety and Environmental areas are adhered to within area of responsibility

Engineer on team responsible for multiple gas gathering systems and processing plants in the San Angelo and southern Louisiana regions. Responsibilities include:-Size and rate plant process and compressor equipment-Develop treating & process simulations and models-Suggest optimization projects to enhance process recoveries based on simulations-Project design and scope development-Project economics and justification-Project documentation-Material and equipment sourcing-Process Safety Management (PSM)

- Coordinate all activities associated with proposals for filtration/separation equipment in the Houston region- Serve as a resource for customers in the Houston area including EPC, Operators, and OEM companies- Conduct product presentations to customer technical groups and engineers- Continue technical responsibilities from Application Engineer role as engineering support for sales role

- Sized filtration applications based on process conditions and contaminant removal- Designed pressure vessels to ASME Sect VIII Div 1 & other code requirements- Provided technical & troubleshooting support for in-service applications- Involved in projects including wellhead filtration, pump stations, compressor stations, gas plants, & NGL fractionators
