As Project Manager, I interact with all phases of a job from engineering and design to customer and vendor communication. I am learning how to work on large teams on both smaller, fast-track projects as well as larger, more complex projects. Prioritizing my time and keeping all communications documented and organized is a key to success. I am also busy working on side projects for WesTech's internal growth and improved efficiency.

I have the great opportunity to move around the company as part of a rotation program. I will spend time working in the lab and learning about the chemistry involved and how to simulate treatment processes, in the electrical shop to learn about building panels and controller logic, and spend some time with a few other groups that I will work closely with in the years to come.

Continuing to gather equipment information for jobs within the group and assisting in the preparation of submittal packages. Primary focus is continuing to improve and build new database features by expanding its capabilities, and training multiple groups throughout the company on how to utilize it.

Helped gather necessary equipment information to create equipment packages for customer submittal. Took the lead on one of the group projects in compiling this information. Became the designated lead on improving the capabilities of a new, innovative company database including designing and adding new features, trouble-shooting, and training fellow employees on its uses and capabilities.

Help students with homework in one-on-one or small group settings, help them prepare for tests by sharing study tips, and graded homework and exams.

Summer Internship. Worked primarily with detailing, creating and reading engineering drawings. Spent several days seeing other groups within the company including experience with fabrication and assembly, special projects, and some time working with market forecasting and analysis.
