Jonathan worked in several roles at TD for almost a decade before joining one of the top 3 largest investment advisory groups at TD in the nation. Most recently, at TD Securities Inc., gaining invaluable experience trading a rotating range of asset classes on behalf of the bank and its clients. Jonathan garnered broad-based exposure to the best of the institutional side of the industry, advising pension plans, central banks and large-scale asset managers on topics from macro-economic trends to trade ideas and execution. Prior to his role at TD Securities, Jonathan worked at TD Asset Management, the institutional investment management division of TD Bank. With direct contact to some of the world’s leading portfolio managers, analysts and investment strategists, he provided market outlook commentary and investment strategy advice to clients on behalf of the firm. Jonathan holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto with a major in Finance, specializing in Risk Management and Financial Engineering. Jonathan has earned the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) designation, is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®), and is licensed in options and derivatives by the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC).Jonathan also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario.
