As an end of life and palliative care spiritual care counselor, I specialize in whole person care that promotes health, wellness, and inner peace throughout the end-of-life journey. My goal is to highlight the patient’s own inner brilliance through reflections upon their spiritual heritage to find balance and create harmony amidst existential suffering, spiritual anxiety, and end of life concerns. I have a special interest in the use of psychedelic plant medicine to aid in meaning making at the end of life, utilizing these medicines to highlight one's spiritual tradition and the myriad avenues down which we can journey to discover inner peace and acceptance throughout serious illness and end of life.I have experience in clinical settings ranging from behavioral health, acute intensive care, palliative and hospice care. Working as a member of an interdisciplinary care team, I integrate a client’s spiritual tradition, religious practice if one is presented, life philosophy and overall sense of meaning and purpose into a patient directed plan of care, ensuring the patient’s sense of self is intact throughout change and trauma.
