Logistics Assistant Manager
Current- Managing a core team of up to 20 members and a broader team of up to 70 at any time- Developing and managing policies, operating procedures, and traffic management plans- Maintaining accurate reporting, documentation, and effective communication with key stakeholders- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Tennis Australia Warehouse and managing logistical aspects of the AO and year-round TA logistics requirements- Implementing and maintaining the AO Inventory system, work with suppliers and internal teams to develop an integrated supply chain, and ensure accurate logs and records are captured- Coordinating with procurement operations, managing rental and purchasing of equipment, and maintaining the TA-owned fleet- Coordinating supply arrangements and contracts, tracking assets, and ensuring venue readiness and maintenance- Managing recruitment, training, and allocation of resources for AO logistics teams, internal labour, and plant equipment- Monitoring rostering hours, job allocations, and staff performance- Creating and managing budgets for warehouse, logistics, and labour operations- Monitoring and tracking spendings, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring contractual compliance- Collaborating with key stakeholders to streamline operational needs, refining logistics systems, and identifying optimization opportunities- Analysing problems and proposing solutions for continual improvement- Managing the operation and occupancy of the TA Warehouse, overseeing deliveries, storage, and inventory management- Liaising with stakeholders on planning, resourcing, and coordinating the installation and removal of TA-owned AO temporary infrastructure- Coordinating onsite traffic and pedestrian diversion during AO operations and providing adhoc support for event operations- Handling adhoc tasks and driving supply-chain management and logistical coordination for AO and limited TA operations
