Business Launchpad offers a full business start-up programme for young entrepreneurs 17-30 years old. BLP also own a large premises, the Trident Business Centre, which offers affordable and flexible office and meeting space to small and medium enterprises. It is through the renting of space within Trident that we are able to fund the majority of our enterprise programme for young people.

The Corporate Advisory team at CAF provides corporate responsibility and sustainability consultancy services to corporates on a commercial basis.I delivered these services (encompassing environmental, economic, social and governance issues) to corporate clients through strategic engagement with corporate clients, growing and managing relationships to support client aims.Internally I work cross-functionally with key teams (particularly our social investment team, private client and charity consultancy teams) to deliver the most appropriate service to clients. Line managed 3 team members.

Supported the development and implementation of new governance procedures.

I supported the development and delivery of Pfizer’s corporate responsibility and stakeholder engagement strategy through extensive cross-functional working. Central to this was engaging with key public affairs stakeholders across the external environment, often in partnership with teams (e.g. Brand, Communications, Government Affairs, Market Access), to ensure that all perspectives of external stakeholders were understood by the business.

Short internship introducing me in to the professional world of CR and Sustainability.

Account managing a territory in the North West of England, which included over 400 schools in 8 Local Education Authorities. I was responsible for sales and developed excellent relationships with senior teachers and key education officers by understanding their needs and the local environment to ensure they had the most appropriate materials.Outstanding results in the first three months - winning best new starter award in recognition of this.Implemented two new business practices that drove efficiencies in the business and created a new proposition for existing products targeted towards niche clients.
