Introduced and implemented high-throughput, global microRNA expression profiling at ABC and applied microRNA expression profiling to develop novel characterization strategies of candidate and commercial therapeutic antibodies and biosimilars and to support DVD pipeline project decisions in collaboration with multiple divisions using primary and cell-line based in vitro model systems. Introduced integrated microRNA and transcriptome analysis and applied this analysis to identify and validate microRNA, mRNA and proteomic biomarkers in preclinical models of colitis in collaboration with the GI Disease Area Working Group. Developed strategies and proposals to expand omics platforms for the Biomarker Long-range Planning Committee. Introduced and implemented various bioinformatics and systems biology methods and analytical tools for mining of high-dimensional data generated internally and externally (NCBI GEO, EMBL, TCGA). -

Developed predictive molecular models to identify putative derepressed targets of the perturbed hepatic miRnome, and validated network predictions by transcriptome profiling and global miRNA-transcriptome integrative analysis through bioinformatics-based analytical approaches to parsing high-dimensional data. -
