Responsible for all aspects of Civil Engineering for future scientific infrastructure studies, taking projects from inception to completion to enable the Physics Beyond Colliders programme: * Gathering detailed user requirements and translating them into cost-effective concept designs. Working with other groups around CERN to ensure that civil engineering solutions fit with the wider multi-disciplinary design in a complex scientific environment * Applying industry best practice methods for estimation of cost and schedule for projects * Procuring and managing contractors and consultants to deliver work to time and budget * Drafting and management of construction contracts based on FIDIC forms * Site supervision of construction works, ensuring quality requirements are achieved * Expert advice on CE and project management for FAS projects such as FCC and CLIC
