• Manages the day-to-day operations of the JD program, including overseeing all recruitment and retention efforts • Assists in all aspects of enrollment management, using historical yield, national trends, and peer data to create scholarship and enrollment grids• Serves as primary data administrator, reviewing and analyzing data and information from Unite and LSAC reports, enrollment reports, and national trends to manage Maryland’s incoming class, recommending/making admissions and scholarship decisions• Works with the Associate Dean of Admissions to prepare yearly ABA and USNews Reports • Works with the Alumni Advancement Office to match incoming students with endowed scholarship funds• Creates weekly enrollment reports regarding applicant data and monthly national applicant data to review admissions trends• Oversees the Admissions team and work study students, managing weekly meetings and supervising tasks completed by all staff members• Provides weekly scholarship reports for the financial aid office • Reviews thousands of JD applicant files, including transfer, visitor, guest, and first-time applicants and recommends/issues admission and scholarship decisions• Manages automated and event communications for prospective and admitted students; drafting, editing, and reviewing all print and digital communications, including mass e-mails to thousands of prospective students• Manages and executes an admissions interview with hundreds of admissions interviews each year by students, faculty, and staff• Creates information and implements changes to the law school website to improve marketing and outreach for prospective students• Serves as primary data administrator, reviewing and analyzing data and information from recruitment reports to support recruitment efforts and implement recruitment strategies• Represents the law school at fairs, conferences, panels, and other events throughout the country and conducts information sessions, webinars, and seminars
