As a DSP (Direct Support Professional) i worked one-on-one with adults with intellectual disabilities teaching them independent living skills. As an intern for Heritage i worked specifically with the church youth group of junior high and high school aged adolescences. I planned summer activities and events, trips, organized and delegated necessary tasks to leaders through-out the group, and planned meals on a strict budget.
