Jonathan J. Gotwald, PE was Vice President of Engineering in the St. Petersburg office. Mr. Gotwald was responsible for Business Development, management and productivity for the St Petersburg engineering department staff. His prior experience with land development, institutional and public works projects include the design of stormwater management systems, drainage, roadways, sanitary sewer systems, and water distribution systems supporting the development of numerous types of facilities. Mr. Gotwald also has permitting experience for local, municipal, and county agencies in the Tampa Bay area and Florida together with regional, state and federal agencies including SWFWMD, FDEP, FDOT, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, US Environmental Protection Agency, and US Army Corps of Engineers.Mr. Gotwald also represented George F. Young, Inc. as the Education Specialist with experience in planning, design, and permitting of K through 12, Community College and University Projects. His involvement included providing consulting on continuing services contracts with school districts and secondary education clients as well as coordinating team projects with architects, planners, engineers and construction managers. Mr. Gotwald maintains an active involvement in the Florida Education Facilities and Planners Association, Inc. to remain abreast of the ever-changing direction of education the state Florida.
