With a focus on these positive benefits we want to create a gym atmosphere rather than a clinical atmosphere, whether this is in our online content or at our premises in Newcastle upon Tyne & Gateshead.When we first opened our doors in 2018, under the name Pop-Up Gym, there was nowhere else in the North of England that provided a gym environment specifically for people with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities. In the short time that we have been trading, we have helped over one hundred people with various physical disabilities, to exercise, and our mission is to continue and grow.We have created a one-of-a-kind gym space, purpose built for wheelchair users including the availability of specialist personal trainers.Our slogan is “Making Exercise Accessible“. This refers to our aim of making exercise both physically and financially accessible to people with physical disabilities. Worked at the UK’s 75th largest business during a period intense ambition and innovation. Multi-channel strategy included opening 100+ convenience store per annum for a number of years, resulting in overtaking Asda to become UK’s second largest Supermarket by market share.In my final role there I led two recently merged teams, quickly creating clear identity and cohesive environment.Key Achievements- Spearheaded significant improvements to sales forecasting accuracy (primary KPI) by evolving methodology to incorporate latest customer insight.- Devised new approach for evaluating growth potential across existing store estate. As a departmental expert in retail markets I was responsible for the supermarket estate expansion strategy across the UK. - Recommended strategies for existing stores, supported by detailed analysis and knowledge of individual geographic markets.- Delivered actionable insight to senior stakeholders, highlighting challenges/opportunities to our estate and future expansion ambitions.

Forecasted sales for new supermarkets, extensions, replacements and refurbishments, by researching and analysing store performance, market and geo-spatial data. - Produced Board papers recommending capital investment for future investments.- Critically reviewed performance of completed property investments and made recommendations.
