I was part of an internationally renowned research group investigating the effects on follicle growth and development of exposure to excess androgens in utero in sheep.I had principal responsibility for the day-to-day running of the research project as outlined in the studentship, which included the planning, execution and interpretation of research studies and subsequent reports to tightly defined deadlines. As part of this responsibility I also undertook ordering of all laboratory consumables and kits concomitant with management of the project budget (£30,000 over 3 years), which included monitoring expenditure and analysing monthly budget reports.Additional responsibilities included the presentation of my research findings at international and national conferences and the supervision and teaching of undergraduate students.
