I founded JG Town Planning in March 2024 to offer expert planning consultancy services in residential development, industrial development and land promotion.

At Woolbro Group I managed projects ranging from 20 flats to 150 houses, from conception to build. This involved leading cross-functional teams of consultants to ensure planning applications and appeals were prepared to a high standard within agreed timescales and budgets. I also provided internal planning advice on new development sites and regular updates on changes to planning policy and legislation.

At Welbeck, I developed a strong working knowledge of the UK Town Planning system, building upon previous work experience and the knowledge gained at university.I was involved with managing a variety of residential planning applications, ranging from 100 to over 1,000 homes. I undertook due diligence for the acquisition of new sites and I also assisted in the marketing of sites and their sale to house builders.

At WYG (now Tetra Tech), I played a crucial role in supporting associate and senior planners with a range of planning activities. My responsibilities included conducting detailed site appraisals, preparing and submitting planning applications, and performing in-depth research for developer contributions.In this role I gained hands-on experience working with national house builders on diverse projects, from small-scale developments to large, complex applications.
